Family Tired of Qadianism Embraces Islam
Report of Daily Ummat
Dated 2nd February 2004
Karachi (Report Mohammed Zahid Rana): Fed up of the haggling of Qadianis (Ahmadis) a family of 7 members residing in Drigh Road embraced Islam. According to the details, head of the family resident of House No. 2/91, Cantt. Bazaar, Drigh Road, Karachi (Pakistan), Nasir Ahmad Mughal son of Nazeer Ahmad Mughal embraced Islam at the office of Aalami Majlise Tahaffuze Khatme Nabuwwat, at the hands of Maulana Mufti Abdul Qayoom Deenpuri, along with his brother, wife and children. In the family is included his brother 46 years old Mohammed Ali, 56 years old wife Kaneez Akhter, 25 years old son Imran Ahmad, 20 years old son Nadir Ahmad, 17 years old daughter Kiran Shehzadi and 45 years old Neelam Shehzaadi. Nasir Ahmad Mugha, during a special interview with Ummat, told that "the Qadiani jamaat because of its cowardice remain scared and its people are always looking for opportunities to collect donations to propagate Ahmadiyyat. Imran Ahmad said that most of my friends are Muslims and they belong to the Khatme Nabuwwat office of Shahrah-e-Faisal. They frequently used to invite us to embrace Islam and we were also fed up from Qadianiyat but because of our father, Nasir Ahmad Mughal, we were not able to embrace Islam. Last year a lady Tahira Khurshid wife of Khurshid Ahmad was murdered in our neighbourhood. During investigation policemen of Sub Inspector Sami Jan of Shahrahe Faisal Police Station arrested me on suspicion, they tortured me and broke one of my arm." Mohammad Ali said that "during that trouble no one from the Qadianis (Ahmadis) came to us, where as they used to tell our children to spy against the Khatme Nabuwwat, taking advantage of their friendship with them, but out children never did it. That was the reason that during these difficult times, instead of helping us Qadianis of our area started pressurissing the police. Upon this my whole family turned against Qadianis (Ahmadis). During that trouble, the Muslims of our neighbourhood helped us a lot. This was the reason that our hearts gave us the shahadah of Islam and on 29th January 2004 we went to the Khatme Nabuwwat Office at Numaish round about along with our children. On this occasion, some of the workers of Khatme Nabuwwat were also with us, there we embraced Islam at the hands of Maulana Mufti Abdul Qayoom Deenpuri and denounced Qadianism (Ahmadiyyat) verbally, in writing and in practice." Nasir Ahmad Mughal further added: On 30th January 2004 on Friday in Jama Masjid Bilal Drigh Road Cantt Bazaar, we announced our embracing of Islam in front of all Muslims of that area." He said: Regarding Qadianiyat, my personal view is that it is a conspiracy agaisnt Islam and Holy Prophet Muhammad SAAW, which should be exposed by every Muslim and now we invite other members of our family who are still Qadianis to Islam. Kaneez Akhter told Ummat that when we announced our acceptance of Islam in Masjid Bilal, people congratulated us and put garlands of flowers on us, and till now people from the neighbourhood and from far away places coming to congratulate us."
